Totally get the long walks, so much that as I march along these days I’m not so much noticing whether the silver birch is ready to bud (not yet) but thinking that’s the tree where I had the brilliant insight (since discarded) about such and such).
I know what you mean Anne – Walking the dog is great way to work out a story. However, it is in the shower, where I often get that ah-hah moment about something I have been mulling over. I am forever jumping out of the shower and scribbling on a notepad, soaking wet.
